Me and my sister
Although my sister right now is only two, she looks like a giant compared to me. I hope I grow up to be big and strong like her. Mom says maybe not as hyper though...
She is a bit overwhelming at times, but she REALLY loves me! She sings me the Barney Song ALL the time. It comes with hugs, kisses, and holding hands!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ASA!
The Birthday Story
Mom woke up at 6am from her stomach being uncomfortable. She thought it was how she was sleeping, so she walked around, stretched, and went back to sleep. Then she was awaken again at 7am because her stomach was "uncomfortable" again.. but she didn't think it was contractions because it "didn't feel like it." She was confused because her "contractions" weren't very sore and it wasn't giving pain around her entire stomach. It felt more like cramps.. but consistent cramps! At five minutes apart, she thought it must be contractions after all, and so mom and dad started quickly getting ready. They already had their hospital bag packed, so they just did their morning thing and got Abby ready for the sitters. A friend picked up Abby while mom and dad drove down to Queens. At 8:30am, they checked in with contractions now 3 minutes apart and 8cm dialated! Mom would have never guessed everything would happen so quickly, but Praise the Lord it happened nice and early in the morning after we all had rest, were home, and had just enough time to get the day started without going too crazy. Her contractions were weird and not very painful. (Thank you to everyone who prayed!) By 10:00 (10:01) to be exact, Asa came out 7 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long! Mom had a natural birth and dad brags how well the delivery went even though mom did all the work. Dad was too grossed out to take any pictures or cut the umbilical cord, but he was supportive and happy to have a "little mackey." There was no episiotomoy, tears, or epidural,.. painful, quick, but happy that part is over and excited of what's to come.
